Requirements
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Assist National Account Manager of carrier operations, including negotiating rates with carriers and coordinating shipments with customers.
Work with Business Development team to ensure full communication on customers loads are understood.
Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and customers to ensure high levels of service and customer satisfaction. Assist with any escalated carrier issues as needed.
Assist SLG Billing Department with carrier issues as needed.
Monitor SLG Operations email to ensure all communication is being responded to in a timely manner.
Work with Claims and Compliance department on specific load issues and communication as needed.
Provide timely and accurate communication to customers and carriers regarding shipment status, delays, and issues.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all load transactions and activities within Turvo.
Assist with freight quoting as needed.
Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements:
1+ years’ experience specifically with domestic freight brokerage preferred
Excellent communication skills with both team members and customers.
Strong negotiation and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office and transportation management software.
